" Join the National Trust today and get to know the beautiful country you're visiting..."

|
With its ancient woodlands, rolling green hills, rugged mountains and beautiful coastlines, Wales is a breathtaking country; one that visitors enjoy all year round. But with so many areas of natural beauty under threat, we all need to play our part in protecting our precious and unique heritance. When you join the National Truast, your membership fee goes towards caring for and protecting our natural and historic treasures.

|

As a National Trust member you will be supporting one of Britain's most successful conservation charities. You'll help care for historic homes and gardens, areas of outstanding natural beauty and natural heritage, now - and for generations to come. We can't do it without you.

You can enjoy all the benefits of membership for just 8p a day:

As a member of the National Trust you'll enjoy free entry to over 25 properties in Wales and more than 300 across the whole of the UK. Visit the massive Victorian pile of Penrhyn Castle near Bangor and wonder at the immense wealth of the Welsh slate barons; admire the great Whistler mural at Plas Newydd on the Isle of Anglesey; marvel at the oppulent furniture and superb collections housed at Chirk Castle and Erddig, and wander the castle and gardens at Powis in Welshpool or Llanerchaeron in Aberaeron And that's just north and mid Wales.

In south Wales there's Aberdulais Falls, Neath, Colby Woodland Gardens near Tenby, and Tenby Merchant's House. There's Dinefwr Park and Newton House at Llandielo and Dolaucothi Gold Mine at Pumpsaint where you can even do a bit of gold-panning.

Add all this up and the membership cost of just £28.80 for a whole year's membership more than pays for itself, before even looking at free entry to National Trust's English and Scottish properties.
